Poch is in real trouble. Weve gone off a cliff; no press, no creativity and no confidence. I dunno how he is gonna turn this around. We are so ponderous.
 
Good result for Chelsea, looking very good. No Champions League is going to really help them..

Your transfers this summer seemed a bit odd to me. What probably cost Spurs the title last season was their lack of goalscorers in the side yet you spent your money on a striker that's only going to play if Kane's out and 2 powerful midfielders. Why you weren't in for a goalscoring midfielder or winger is beyond me.
 
Dele Alli doesn't seem to add a lot to this side. He's not quick, he's not going to pick a killer pass, he rarely beats a man in the right area. How did he score so much last year - was it all just good movement?

There's nothing about the way he plays that's spectacular but he's a really decent player and still just 20. People have compared him to a young Gerrard but he reminds me more of Lampard. He's not got the dynamism that Gerrard had but he makes clever runs and has a habit of popping up in the area just at the right time.

Spurs' problem is that they're relying on him to be their main goal threat from midfield which is a big ask of any 20 year old.

Our summer signings have been terrible. Wanyama has been great but has killed Diers confidence so is essentially a sideways move. Not easy to see that coming though

Sissoko is the signing that really irritates. Everyone knows he is pretty crap and has an occasionally good game. Why we paid £30m for him i will never know.

Janssen is being given a really harsh ride. The team hasn't been creating opportunities and blaming him for not scoring is silly.

Last season our goals came from a high press winning the ball back near a disrupted defence. We also scored a lot of counter attack goals. Ali was instrumental in this and made a lot of key passes. Against a settled defence we always struggled.

This season we haven't really had the energy or intensity of last season and so we aren't running an effective high press (other than city and the first half of Chelsea). We have no confidence and we have lots of sideways possession and no creativity.. Basically we are pants and look a bit cluekess

Poch should abandon trying to have 5 systems and run the old system with the old team again. Get that firing, get the old partnerships working and then look to evolve. We have to have a method of scoring goals that isn't reliant on wonder strikes from our top players.
