New manager bump, not even once...

Defence just showing how bad they are, no manager can change that.
 
Lol oh well Arteta needs to make some hard decisions about our squad now. Certain players that shouldn’t be anywhere near the first team.

The race to the bottom is falling into place, I didn’t expect Arteta or any other ******* manager to do any better with the absolute ******* dross we have.

Im putting the blame on the board and whoever the **** is in charge of buying players the past few seasons. The board needs to sort this **** out, it’s just going to get more and more toxic as the games go by.
 
That was annoying but no knee-jerking here - all the other games lost this season, the performances were so bad you couldn't say they deserved anything other than getting a hiding. Today, couldn't fault the effort and looked like a different team for most of the first half, and even out of possession in the 2nd until the end when they lost their shape when it went end-to-end. Losing Chambers and having to play Mustafi and Luiz was always going to make life difficult, but it until that howler for their first goal they were just about hanging in there... which makes it especially disappointing Leno made such a howler because he's been solid this season.

Top 4 was already gone before Arteta came in, it's just a shame he's started in the middle of the Christmas fixture crunch but I'm 95% sure this is going to be like that season when Chelsea finished 10th or 12th. Think they'll be fine once there's time to have a breather before games.
 
Also annoying Jorginho escaped a 2nd booking well before he scored, for exactly the same foul Torreira and Maitland-Niles did get booked for, but the ref was pretty rubbish all-round today, win some lose some.
 
Arsenal as close to the bottom of the league as to the top four.

Wouldn't have thought that at the start of the season.
