Good that Matip was praised just then, he's not just been a rock a CB he's been the leader we've been missing since Carragher retired. Always helping out his teammates and telling them to stay calm or where to pass it.
Ooof Palace had a really poor first half - Got that lucky giveaway first goal, then another really good header - But our defence has been none-existent.

Keeping up the pace , 11 games unbeaten now I think and with a xmas fixture list which looks all winnable on paper. But need to shore the defence up because we cant always rely on scoring this many goals

If points were dished out on performances rather than who scores the most goals then we'd have won the league already. Practically every game we've played this season we've dominated but too often we've found ways to make games hard for ourself.
We should have been 4 or 5 goals up at half time today but poor finishing (and a fingertip save from Ward) and careless defending made the game interesting, again!
