Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [28th April - 1st May 2017]

That was just because we were poor, nothing to do with being content to sit back. We didn't look like scoring before the goal and we didn't look like scoring after. Fact is without Pogba we look crap.
I agree you were poor 1st half but not in the 2nd half. You changed the system to counter Swansea's dominance in midfield and you were comfortable in then 2nd half. You didn't push forward though - Mourinho was happy for you to try and see out the 1-0.

Why do people think Mourinho's teams don't score goals, i don't understand. I haven't looked recently but i'm pretty sure he's had the best goal difference when he's won titles with his teams..
I suggest you look recently then :p

Too many games have finished 1-1, there's definitely an emphasis on defence and finishing your opportunities which doesn't work well when you can't do the latter.

Define fraud? The PL is entertaining, other than Chelsea and Spurs, the usual suspects have been inconsistent with injuries to major players. Plus United have Europa.

spurs had cl, got to the semi final of the fa cup have had alli and moussa suspended. vert, toby, walker, rose, wanyama and kane injured and spent a fraction of what united have

mourinho just simply isn't the great manager people think he is. give other managers the players and resources he's had at clubs and many would fair better

Another absolutely bogus penalty to a Manchester side today, embarrassing call. Sane ran forwards tapped the ball off to his left, stopped running and flopped into a guy to his right. No leg stuck out, no excessive force, the defender barely moved, Sane just ran into him with zero attempt to go after the ball. Video replay today would have given Swansea a deserved win, Rashford a deserved yellow and Boro would still be leading.
