Clearly not, as we had Park for that (assisting Rooney) and he was utterly useless.

I'm not saying Fergie didn't get it wrong tonight and playing Park after months of not even a sub appearance was one example of this, not playing Welbeck from the start was another. Not playing Berbatov was not though.

I was replying to DM talking about the general treatment of Berbatov though.

I could understand why he may not play tonight but I would have rather had him on trying to create something than have to watch that 'defensive' (I use that word lightly) shambles.

A lot of Fergie's decisions are pretty indefensible this seasons. I don't want him gone but I'm curious what the next guy could do. I just want to see us entertain again, even if we don't win. So frustrating watching us not be able to string together a few passes.

Not really he's 19, he's got at least 2 or 3 years before he's ready to play consistently in his preferred position.
