Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [28th December 2014 - 1st January 2015]

Fantastic finish, pathetic, pathetic defending. Keeper went wide and none of the defenders got on the freaking line, they just didn't bother. ARsenal defending is always pathetic and never changes.

EDIT:_ look at the replay Mane is 5 yards deeper than Mertesacker at least only because he stopped running back and was it Chambers, not sure who went near post instead of again continuing to and covering the goal. If the keeper goes wide you get back and get in goal effectively and two freaking defenders failed to do that out of nothing but stupidity.

All 3 subs used in the first 35 for Burnley. One of which was one of the changes.

Poor *****, but expecting the same team to play all 3 games was ludicrous.

Funny because the papers after they managed to draw against City were all suddenly banging on about how you can play 2 games in 2 days with no consequences.... overtraining(or overplaying) shows but takes time. Playing or training too much leaves you much more vulnerable to injury.

Soton Arsenal or Liverpool Leicester game should be on TV. Not CitySun, don't see why I'd want to watch them two.

I was surprised to see that is not Mark Clatternburg giving Liverpool these penalties.

What you tend to see happening is after one stonkingly awful decision, referees tend to attempt to make up for it so wouldn't have been surprised to see that second penalty denied. But while the second penalty was closer to an actual penalty I still think that is fairly harsh, in a lot of games neither would have been given.

wow, now Hull are easily beating us, dark times ahead of Everton. Martinez needs to look at defenders to buy during the window, he failed during summer (didnt even look by sounds of it) and its costing us.
