He's been a pretty consistent player for us but this year just suddenly making a lot of errors.

I think Southampton will struggle without Bertrand and Clyne today, we at least have a replacement left back in Targett but from the lineup I'd guess Yoshida has been shoved to right back, which is nowhere near Clyne strength in that position, certainly not from an offensive perspective.

The front end of the team looks OK though, decent strength there.


Southampton: Forster, Alderweireld, Fonte, Yoshida, Targett, Steven Davis, Wanyama, Schneiderlin, Tadic, Pelle, Mane. Subs: Kelvin Davis, Gardos, Long, Ward-Prowse, Isgrove, Reed, McCarthy.

Hmm, seems Alderweireld is also a right back, for some reason I thought he was more of a defensive mid as a secondary skill to centre back, perhaps not as bad as first feared.

You thought di maria was tough enough for the EPL and said as much about 14 minutes before he got subbed in a crumpled heap in his debut. So while im not saying your opinion is utterly useless it would probably be better to try and understand the subject before making these statement.

I don't know of anyone who has ever thought of Evans as being a good player so where you came out with this i have no idea.
