Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [28th December 2014 - 1st January 2015]

As bad as Spurs were for the most part they could have easily pinched it at the end. The ref seemed to be looking straight at the Rooney rugby tackle on Kane.

I questioned whether Kane was any good the other day but I have to say I was really impressed with him today. Put his usual shift in and came up with a few really nice touches. If only the 3 men behind him worked half as hard as he did.

Forster, Yoshida, Fonte (c), Alderweireld, Targett, Wanyama, Schneiderlin, S. Davis, Tadić, Mané, Pellè.

No Clyne or Bertrand will hurt us in attack and defence, it's a shame we have to revert to the old formation too but didn't expect anything out of today anyway.

Who else did we have on the bench apart from youngsters?

Terrible 2nd half, but 1st half Utd should have scored at least 3

Well Wilson has started games so the manager clearly thinks he's in the first team squad. the last 40 mins both RvP and Falcao were offering very little (hardly surprising considering the amount of football they've played) Some fresh legs up front might have relieved a little of the pressure instead of just allowing Spurs to dominate us. We're lucky to come away with the point there, sure we had a few chances in the first half but Spurs had a lot of chances as well.

Spurs controlled the game as soon as Dembele was brought on, why he didnt start I've no idea.

That Rooney tackle in the box was a shocker, ref was looking straight at them?!

like a lot of chances against us - for the most part De Gea had majority today easily covered.

I think Valencia and McNair needed to come off - I cant recall who else got subbed but we were hanging on defensively at the end so with possibly another tired (or injured) defender, I cant see how we wouldn't have conceded but who knows

Not to mention several going the other way that he blindly ignored lol - although I grant you that was probably the "biggest" miss
