Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [28th February - 04 March 2015]

Hutton should have been sent off.

Foster... what an absolute tool. Suicidal goalkeeping. What an absolutely horrific bit of goalkeeping.

Tim Sherwood featuring Aston Villa win thanks to some of the worst goalkeeping you will ever see :D.

Because he has been booked, he won't cop a charge from FA either, unless ref says he never saw the incident but booked him for aggressive beahaviour after.

So pathetically easy it would have been to keep his hands on that ball, then with the player running in a direction away from goal absolutely no need to dive in. Just stand there like a defender to block any shot but he could likely act like he was going to dive in, watch the player kick it away and wait for contact... but don't dive in, goal kick. He could have just run out and kicked it out for a throw in. Awful awful keeping.

Villa were the better team for much of the game, I would say they deserved to win but then Hutton deserved to be sent off so... meh.

To be fair the way the first half went, we should have been out of sight. Something finally went out way. I love Sherwood's passion for the game
He's bonkers but he's not going to let us go down with a whimper. He'll make us fight

BT's coverage is so far up Tim Sherwoods bum they clean the back of his teeth :D.

Loved Michael Owen's 'Football does not get much bigger than this' at the start of the match :D. Hilarious.

As long as he knows where the TV cameras are.

It's so good to see nice looking stats for once. Swear it took us about 8 games to have 16 shots at the start of the season.

Love Gabby's interviews, "Y'know?" :D

Chelsea team:

Courtois; Ivanovic, Cahill, Terry (c), Azpilicueta; Zouma, Ramires, Fabregas, Oscar, Hazard, Diego Costa

Zouma at defensive midfield again :)

Will be interesting to see how Ramires and Oscar work out. One of them will surely be on the right wing, with the other in a central midfield position.

United's starting line-up: De Gea, Valencia, Smalling, Evans, Rojo, Blind, Herrera, Di Maria, Fellaini, Young, Rooney.

Subs: Lindegaard, Jones, McNair, Carrick, Mata, Januzaj, Falcao.

Fellaini up top LOL

I'll be honest Saturday was one of our better games but still poor, to improve we probably need one striker (Rooney) with Mata behind him. Two strikers clearly isn't working as there isn't enough space for them and nobody like Mata to penetrate.

I don't understand the idea of Fellaini as a starter up front if you have a team around him that wants to keep possession and pass the ball. He is a good plan B but whats the point of him starting over Mata.

LVG proving his tactical genius yet again :p With Young starting it's gonna be crossing it in the box 50 times again, without an end product. Or I guess Fellaini is meant to be that, but like you said it's either possession or plan b can't have both.
