Too often when a team wins fans completely ignore dire performances, they win thus everyone must have been at the least okay. Evans was always someone who was made to look competent by those around him and the results of the team, not by his own performances.

Just seen another replay of the should have been penalty. Smalling is an idiot, the fact is he was goal side of the player and had absolutely no need to make that challenge. Defenders give away penalties, there are times tackles have to be made and the best CB's will get plenty wrong in a career... but there Smalling didn't have to make that tackle, nor in that way. Very lucky as it was a pretty blatant penalty and between the officials one of them should have given it.
 
bah should have scored there and need to make all this possession count as there is certainly a mistake waiting to happen at the back..
