Terrible again from Di Maria, the angle was there for the pass to Young to his left with the defender already trying to mark off Falcao it was a harder pass and Falcao would have a defender to deal with, pass to Young was stupidly easy choice. Doesn't only choose wrong but terrible pass straight at the defender. Thing is if that goes to Young the defender probably changes direction leaves Falcao and gives Young the option to shoot or put it back across the box.

Di Maria has been useless for months now.

Can't remember, did you call him a good purchase at the time for manu or crap
 
Di Maria will come good just give him time, but then again you could say the same about Falcao, who at this rate won't be here next season.

Said he was incredibly poor value and for me no where near a 60mil type player, IE a stand out star. It was a weird end of year last year where a bunch of big games for Real on tv people would have seen where he played WAY WAY above his usual form.

He had some genuinely outstanding games towards the end of last season and I think a lot of people who don't watch much La LIga but maybe watched their league cup and the last few rounds of the CL will have seen what they thought was a 40-50mil player. But if you watched him even the whole of last year let alone the past 5 years, those performances are few and far between.

Personally I thought he (and Argentina for huge spells) was pretty crap through the world cup, had the odd minute here and there but he like today makes a lot of poor choices and makes mistakes far too often to be a 60mil player.
 
Can see Fellaini coming on in the 70th minute for no really good reason and then someone contributing to a winning goal.

Haidara is off with an injury, so we're officially down to four fit defenders at the club.
 
Here comes plan B.... at least take Falcao off.

There is just no one between their lines. Falcao is coming into that space to pick it up and then we have no one actually up front.
 
Ref has been budget all game but that is a shocker. Brown didn't even commit a foul.

Great penalty. You don't save those. Perhaps leave Falcao on now that Sunderland have to chase the game.
 
I understood the Chamberlain/Gibbs incidence but Brown and O'Shea look nothing like each other :p

Still gotta give credit for Brown going off with a smile.
