Why did i swap RvP out as my captain on FF. Ah well won't let it get me down considering the scoreline.
Because, same as me, hoping Silva will do the business too later
ideally a hat-trick and set up 2 as well

Good opportunity for the younger players, don't think I'd risk the likes of Vermaelen or RVP in that one. Great win for us though, I haven't stopped grinning since RVP smashed that last one in against Cech.

No one, not even Toon fans, expect us to be there end of the season but the media treatment across the board has been pretty shocking, only mention us when we are losing

Same here...didnt think we would win but possibly a draw is what i would have taken from the game but RVP with a hattick, unbelievable really and we put 5 past them which even makes me more happier.

I think you miss the point. After the terrible start to the season, all the injuries and suspensions and having a young makeshift side get battered epically at OT, to give another big side a drubbing at their place, however terrible the defending, feels very cathartic and goes some way to giving the players and fans confidence that they're back on the right track now and will only get better.
I don't doubt if Terry hadn't have slipped we could have well lost the game 4-3 ourselves, but that's football. Whistle blown, finished 5-3, feel-good factor is high.
