Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [29th October - 2nd November 2011]

Trying to figure out how Olson is on the pitch and we haven't had atleast another penalty, Lee Mason is absolutely shocking, i mean why he gave us a freekick like 4 seconds after just because he saw Henderson was still on the ground i don't know, the guy is a scared clueless ****.

Fantastic goal from Andy, well recovered from what i thought he had ****ed up.

EDIT: Jon Champion is a complete tool, instantly claiming Suarez had dived and backing it up with Ferguson and Moyes quotes even though it was a stone wall penalty. Complete ****ing ****** every time we are on ESPN.

Pleased with that half. West Brom are always a tough game away from home and the two goal lead should mean they play more open in the second half leaving more space for our attackers to exploit.

Our defence looks far more composed without Carragher playing and we've retained possession better than we usually do when he plays. Also built a number of our attacks from the back which is how Liverpool should play football.

Not been too impressed with our attackers though. Henderson and Downing have been largely useless and our two goals came from a dodgy penalty and a West Brom mistake. I expect far better from them and hope to see Bellamy on in the second half.

Downing has been good to the final ball, Henderson hasn't been that bad, mind you have never seen you rate him.

Bellamy should definitely be ahead of both.

Not a fan of Henderson on the right but from the 15 minutes he played in the centre a few games ago it's obvious he's a very talented player when played in his natural position.

lol at Wolves fan on 606 now. :D

lol at Blackburn and Steve Kean. :D

meh at Everton, a draw was all we could hope for.

right 2:30am, time for bed I reckon. With the clocks going back in the UK, I think that will be my last late kick off match to watch!

Good night folks

Decent performance, foot off the gas most of the second half, wish we'd try kill teams off rather than doing the typical Liverpool give them the ball from 40-45 minutes and 80+ minutes.

Decent performance overall; solid at the back and never had to get out of 2nd gear in attack but still looked like we could open them up everytime we went forward. Suarez = genius.

Solid win for Liverpool. A potentially tricky game but WBA were absolutely honking in the first half especially.

I still dont see how the words "Andy Carroll" and "£35m" can possibly be used in the same sentence without the word "refund" involved somewhere!

Its not that he is worth that much is just how much Newcastle wanted for him since he was their best player and all the interest from other clubs for Carrol.... and not to mention it was a dead line day deal. Those always go for more.

I'd rate him as an 18m striker.

Forget Carroll...what about Torres??...Chelsea should be asking for a refund and more on him....he was absolutely utterly dire today and has been for quite some time. £50mill for a striker who cant score goals lol...Liverpool must have been laughing their heads off as Chelsea handed over the money:p

I think at the moment 18million would still be a bit much, lets see how he turns out and he might be worth close to the 30 million, then again everyone neglects it was all relative to what we valued a striker who wanted out at who hasn't exactly been prolific seen leaving.
