Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [2nd - 5th March 2012]

Fair result.

Rubbish game.

Worst I have seen us play all season apart from the Pool game. Deserved a point and Shola once again :D

Lol at Cattermole as well, what a ******.

I don't think whoever manages Chelsea next will do any better tbh. It's pretty clear between the loony owner and some of the players it's increasingly no-win.

I know he's had a bad record but I think he should've been given longer.

Liverpool have won 3 out of there last 12 league games

Chelsea have only won three matches in their last 12.

The difference is that Liverpool have been playing better in those 12 games than Chelsea have, plus there are higher expectations on Chelsea than Liverpool.. And ofcourse the fact that Kenny is almost a god in Liverpool, whereas AVB is just yet another foreign manager..

Ambramovich is a very strange guy, he is willing to spend 10-20 million on getting a new manager every year or two but not keen on going out and spending large amounts of money(Mourinho was probs the last manager to get an unlimited transfer fund).

I don't think there is as much of a problem with the squad as the press are making out, they still have some very good players, the problem was AVB was trying to change too much in a too smaller time causing players to not perform.

Dempsey. Ta-ra Wolves.

Spurs side doesn't look strong to be honest. I don't think Man U will have any problems.

I was out all afternoon so only had the BBC website to keep my company, then lost 3G signal in a café whilst it was still 0-1 to Sunderland.

Got signal back to see we had missed a penalty but still equalised.

Thank god for Shola.

That's definitely any possibility of 4th place over now. We've thrown away four points in the last two matches, at home, it's just not good enough.

I really hope we don't get into the Europa league because I think it will stretch us too much next season. I'd like to finish above Liverpool though!

Agreed, United 3-1 winners. Shame I would have liked a stronger team from Spurs to make a real game of it. :(

Mind you we are at that stage of the season where Rooney is due a broken balsa wood toe. :D

Wolves look pathetic, everyone of those players on that pitch should hang their heads in shame.
