The problem is after 21 games we only had 1 point more than we did now too. I'll have a pound with anybody that after 21 games we're more than 4 points better off than last season.

And how much spent since; in real terms not as much as many think. Less than £25-30m once Aquilani's sale goes through.

Really that much. The report I read said the clause was just £5.2m after 25 games at AC. If Juventus' clause was £14m last year, why would it have doubled?

What ever happens he spent £20m on Jordan Henderson, £20m.

Find it strange that those transfers were made with Comolli about, thought he had more about him tbf, then again Dalglish was always going to have final say I suppose unfortunately

Considering we've spent £35 million on Carroll and £20m million on Downing I don't know why you've picked on Henderson given he was rated as one of the top 10 youngsters to watch by FIFA, was being chased by countless clubs including United and has looked excellent in the centre for us.

Find it amusing that so many Spurs and Arsenal supporters have been having digs tonight. One club haven't won a trophy for how many years and the other won't have a manager in the summer because he'll either be banged up or moving on to the England job. Great futures for both clubs.

I thought he would have scouted less obvious players for a start, surely he wasn't even needed in the summer, and at least somebody from France!

Why somebody from France? Did he have a history of signing players from France while at Spurs?

I seem to remember him signing a lot of young British players and a couple of fairly well known and fairly well established players from Europe (Berbatov & Modric for example).
