If the Suarez thread wasn't locked, people would be able to talk about it in there :( Personally I was surprised to see them elect to miss the Man City game (expected them to decline to appeal after it) but I suppose having him back for the Spurs game could be deemed more important, as they are are closer rival than MC.

he has always spoken to the media in a certain way, often comes across as he doesn't want to speak to them/couldn't give a toss but i guess that's just him and his personality, his interviews as a player were hardly zestful. he needs to understand that not all reporters are out to get him and not all questions are loaded. he should know the territory by now!

strachan needs to give him some tips on the lowest form of wit.

Treats what other people with contempt?

And most reporters are stupid to be fair.

Can think of the most successful manager the PL has seen treating reporters like ****, not mentioned much mind you.

Most reporters are stupid.....ridiculous thing to say.

Fergie has his moments, but is more often than not, quite courteous.

I've covered this before. In games like this and this formation, you need 1 of Kuyt or Bellamy for the workrate, closing down etc and you need 1 of Bellamy or Downing for pace.

Kuyt-Maxi is too slow and Downing-Maxi doesn't have the energy to close down/defend.
 
74% - 26% possession to spurs n first 10 mins, we're so in control it's ridiculous. let's just hope we don't get complacent and forget where the goal is
