Was a awful game. City by far the better team. No excuse about being tired from the LC.

Bit late but glad both RVP and Falcao scored today. Only managed to see first 40 minutes before having to leave for work but we look so much more comfortable playing 4-4-2

Crap, because Rooney is crap playing behind strikers and more generally crap for England. Play Kane and Sturridge with a sensible midfield player behind them and they could be very good though

Not sure I understand that third Newcastle goal. Thought it was a free kick because the Hull defenders just stood still and let Gouffran run through them as if the whistle had gone 
A draw will do, considering how depleted we were today and having played a really tough 120mins on Tuesday which some don't think should be a factor for some reason.
It wasn't the best game as Chelsea always seemed to be happy waiting to try to hit City on the break (like Arsenal did, effectively mind) and City always seemed to be wanting to attack but wary of getting hit on the break so not committing fully and if not for an uncharacteristic mistake by Courtois we could well have nicked it.
They were better than us today though in most areas, but sometimes that doesn't count for much.

You just described the normal way for Hull to defend. How Bruce is still in that job I don't know. After his truly painfully awful time at Sunderland I have no idea how anyone thought he could do a job in the prem league any more.
Hull were woeful for half of last year. Seriously they got 14 freaking points in the second half of last season, to which the owners said, this is a guy we should give 40million to, he clearly knows his stuff. 40mil later, 16 points in the first half of this season. Hull are god damned awful.
