Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [30th Mar - 2nd April 2012]

Newcastle fans not chanting it at their manager for once

I have heard people on this forum implying several times now that Newcastle fans always turn against their manager, but I(As a neutral) honestly can't remember the last time I saw Newcastle fans boo'ing their own team or manager..

But when your team is doing as ***** as Liverpool are, I guess you always have to find some way to divert the conversation..

First half was half decent, second half has been the worst half of football I've ever watched us play. Misplaced passes, players arguing amongst themselves, absolutely disgraceful substitutions and the farce with Reina.

We're in trouble and FSG need to do something about it sooner rather than later. It's heartbreaking seeing Dalglish at the helm while this is happening but we're as far away from the league title as I can remember and we're going backwards at an alarming rate :(

No way was it violent conduct, should have been a yellow, just proves that people can cheat to get someone sent off, no menace in it at all.

You see players get sent off for that all the time Cheets, don't really see how it's 'controversial' at all.

Perch was disgusting in the way he went down like he had been shot, but it doesn't somehow mean that what Reina did wasn't worthy of a red card.

Divert conversation? I've probably called our team **** and our management **** more times than anyone else in this thread.

And if you can't remember that you've got a very poor memory.

Ah well, i do wonder what direction the game would have taken if the ref had seen the handball and awarded a penalty followed by quite rightly sending off the cheating player.

Wonder how many of these decent players Newcastle have will now get bought by the bigger clubs at the end of season? Certainly putting themselves in the shop window.

I do hope that we have a clear out, though I suppose it's all down to the owners to see what direction the want to take the club.

... you're not making much sense.

Pardew has done very well, bit of a daft comment to make no?

How are you not getting this? Newcastle are used to singing that at their past managers over the past decade?

And I'm saying Pardew has done very well because he has and you thought I was saying he hasn't

FT Review,

Perch was looking to cause trouble however, We were as per expected good in first 20mins but as i said early we concede and then fall to pieces, KD got all his subs wrong again.

2nd half we didnt even slightly improve we just got worse all our players look confused, disinterested and lack of ideas.

Reina red he may of been provoked into a response but he gave it and whilst yes he didnt touch Perch it look like intent was there end of day he lent his heard forward which is all he needs to do for the Ref to send him off, This ref sends players off allot as it is.

KD does need to leave but i doubt he will.

Perch didn't have to go down but almost ALL players do in that situation. Reina clearly lunged at him with a 'fake' headbutt and that's a red card all day long.

Simple as that.
