Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [30th September - 2nd October 2016]

Man utd-esque...in their heyday utd used to do this at times , play rubbish and still win. Its something Liverpool have had to learn because champions get points even when they dont play well

Interesting stat just popped up there... When Milner has scored Liverpool have never lost (not sure if just PL games) 35 wins 3 draws

Not Liverpool, for all of his teams. It's 41 goals and not a single loss yet.

Edit: That was from March 2016 and he's scored a few penalties since then so more like 45-46 games.

Swansea have tired, they have been pressing less most of this half apart from the subs. Origi will always put more work in then Sturridge but out of those two there's only one I would count on to score something out of nothing.

Almost a 3rd again, no luck today.

Ahh, missed that bit, makes more sense now. An impressive stat :)

That is a pretty good stat for him, no garbage consolation goals :D

Sturridge is a highly skilled player but I'm yet to be convinced that he is a Klopp type of player

Yeah be kind of sad if we can't utilize him properly or he fails to adapt/both.

Swansea seem to have given up, some shocking passing going on.

They look knackered, keeping up with us in the first half has killed them in the second it seems.

Karius has not filled me with confidence in this game...

Yeah, Karius is not anything over Mignolet at this stage.

Our defenders not there but what in the **** was that, go punch it
