Have Arsenal caused themselves problems signing Pepe? He's got to be in the side as their record signing, but playing him in his best position means playing Auba wide (or dropping Laca), and I'm not sure either of them are good options. It would have made so much more sense to spend that money on a top CM, and play Torreira CDM, Guendozi and new CM in midfield, Ceballos at CAM, and Laca and Auba up top

Why do they need to play them 3 CMs, they're all similar. 4231 would suit better although still Aub in the wrong position and he is the better ST out of Lacazette.

Or play the same formation as Spurs with Aub in behind Pepe and Lacazette.

Yet Aurier and Davies (I know a left back) who surely could have played? No idea if they're just back from injuries or whatnot. I thought it was because you were going to switch between 3 and 5atb so Sissoko and Rose as the wing backs.

He’s played Sánchez at rb before and he performed similarly so expected the worse. Also how is fouled for the pen there ?
