Time for me to draw a line under this season. We'll be lucky to finish in the top half at this rate. Team needs a MASSIVE overhaul. I cannot help but wonder how this season may have played out if they had appointed Klopp in the summer and given him preseason to train and the summer transfer window to bring in the players he wants.

What happens to Pardew teams after Christmas?! I remember at least one year when he managed the Toon they were like 6th at halfway then won about 1 game from 20! Palace were well in the top half now haven't won in about 15 games....weird.

He's the perfect player for how Klopp likes to play but as that second half performance showed, you can win games playing slower more controlled football.
Edit: Lovren looks a completely different player as the right sided CB.

From this AFTER the contact, his stride adjusts and is back to normal, there is precisely nothing at this point taking him down. He plants his left foot then just flops over. He CHOSE to not bring his right leg through any more, he CHOSE to not push off with his left foot, he simply went down. It was a tiny bit of contact as Dellany CHOSE to pull out of the tackle.
It was an absolute dive, never in a million years enough contact to go down.
