Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [5 - 6th October 2013]

Tbf the kid did well for both his goals but lets be honest, its Sunderland. If he can do this against teams like Arsenal, City, Spurs, Chelsea and Liverpool then fair enough.

But im just thankful Utd have scored and gone into the lead, one of mates who supports Utd was going nuts earlier on when Utd were down 1-0 lol. Said he put £200 down on Utd to win tonight, had to tell him to calm the hell down and relax as i couldnt see how Utd could possibly lose this game lol.

youve got very lucky tbh

I wouldn't say so, there's nothing happened that has been particularly lucky?

I'm knocking the rival fans who gather and revel in United playing ****, then the 'hypothetical' questions start from random people who show up.

Also, the United fans who are the quickest to start being pathetic.

Yes, let's be as negative as possible...

No- Im just saying lets be a little more realistic

To be fair it also wont do him any good having even more pressure put on him than an automatic "game winner" tag for one of the largest clubs in the world at 18yo

(also just comparing some of the comments today with what was said when Macheda first appeared, arent that different at all)

Well he's always looked fairly capable and has just scored two extremely good goals (especially the latter), neither of which were a fluke.

I agree with the second part though yes. We also shouldn't be relying on him when we have the likes of Rooney and RvP in attacking roles.

Who is giving him that tag?

He has had a brilliant game, and is 18. Its only natural that he will get a lot of praise for it given the situation we were in at the time.

Well I guess Sunderland being awful at finishing and De Gea with most likely one of the saves of the year isn't lucky but it could've been very different come half time .

Happens every game for a big team, Liverpool play winning by a few vs a smaller team, no one there but me and a few others, if we concede one everyones running to their keyboard. It is a bit boring.

I don't blame United fans to be honest, I see Moyes how I saw Hodgson, is alright at a low expectation club, completely out of their depth in the largest and a crap appointment. Albeit Moyes isn't a disrespectful **** to the fans. I could be wrong though, Moyes could be the next Ferguson, I just doubt he'll be successful.

Macheda scored an exceptionally good goal, he is crap :p

(Januzaj or whatever doesn't look crap in general though, Macheda did, hope he turns out the same though :p)
