Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [6th - 12th April 2018]

I'd fill my side with 10 James McCarthy's. Rather have a player with a bit of fire in him than the cowards we put out on show. Couldn't give a toss what opposition fans think.

Klavan scoring that could have been pretty hilarious

The attitude of the english managers that go around the relegation candidates year after year playing horrific football.

What an awful game of football
You have to blame Everton. They are the home side and facing a weakened opponent due to Champions League exertions and they have looked completely lethargic and off the pace.

The stadium resembles a mortuary and there has been nothing to cheer about. Everton have been content to sit back and allow Liverpool all of the ball. They can't even muster a counter attack on the odd occasion they win the ball.

This should have been an exciting season for Everton, we were promised so much but as usual nothing has been delivered. At least back in the Moyes era we had players like Gravesen, Cahill and Ferguson who would wear their heart on their sleeve and give us something to make a fuss about.

Prepared to give Solanke a chance as hes young but hes a bit rubbish?

He needs more consistent time on the pitch to get up a head of steam, he is definitely talented but his opportunities to get a run going are few and far between and given the form of Mane, Firmino and Salah, its likely to be that way for a long while.

Isn't it time someone did the humane thing and took Rooney out the back and put him out of his misery? AKA give him a ticket to the US or China :p

Not sure why he's so upset to get subbed he's been invisible and ineffective the entire game. Fair dos if you're playing a blinder, but he wasn't.
