Everton played like a League two team desperate to take us back to Anfield in the FA Cup and we did **** all to break them down.

We were the better side but didn't do enough to win today. Everton stuck 7 men behind the ball all game and suffocated us of any space in their half.
Hopefully Lallana and Coutinho's (as I assume he came off because of the knock) injuries aren't too serious because we lacked a bit of creativity towards the end of the game today.

He did let us counter by falling asleep tbf . He seems to do that a lot.
Moyes last one at Anfield was far far worse in the most horrid heat too, fans didn't even give a **** that day but this one was pretty bad
We won the crosses, throw ins and most likely sideways passes less than 5 yards in midfield. I can understand why Martinez thinks its a positive performance. He also managed to get one sub on before the 70 min mark. I'm not sure if that's a step forward or he forgot how to tell the time.
But did you win the passing overall
Who cares it's all about keeping it around the halfway line. If you can string together 5000 sideways passes the other team can't score!

Such a strange incident, clearly an accident, but grabbing him by the throat?! would have liked pardew to give him a headbutt lol.
The interview afterwards was odd as well.
