Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [7th - 11th February 2015]

Great game from Spurs, really enjoying having a team that works hard and puts some guts into their performance. In 30 years I've never felt so disheartened by a Spurs team as I had these last 2 years but we finally seem to have some desire! Kane is on a hot streak which cannot be sustained at it's current rate surely? But he appears to have added so much to his game, even if the goals dry up a little he contributes a lot to the team overall, he's not a Defoe who becomes a liability when not scoring. Amzing the amount of money we have wasting away on the bench and more not even making the matchday squad... I wonder how much of the Bale money we can recoup?

England with a fully fit Sturridge and Kane could be interesting to watch.

What is going on with Everton? They don't look good and Martinez just sounds deluded in the interviews afterwards?

Newcastle XI: Krul; Janmaat, Williamson, Coloccini (c), Haidara; Sissoko, Anita, Colback; Cabella, Perez, Ameobi

Obertan is back on the bench after his injury. Hopefully he'll be able to pick up where he left off.

It's a surprisingly good game at Turf Moor. Ideye just made it 2-2: Burnley have thrown away a two goal lead again.

Pains me to say it but Kane is getting better and better. I don't think even the most ardent spurs fan would have predicted who much he progressed 18months ago !

Yawn.

I don't care who wins this any more. I just want it to end.

EDIT: Colback 1-0.

We've been punished for missing two great chances on the counter. Not that either team deserves three points from this.

West Ham: Adrian, Jenkinson, Tomkins, Kouyate, Cresswell, Song, Noble, Nolan (c), Downing, Sakho, Valencia

4 at the back again? Hope so. Very attacking, would have expected Fellaini in there...

We have to get a win here (after the results yesterday), and hopefully score a few as well.
