Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [Sunday 13th May 2012]

I can see City blowing it. QPR have got players that can pull something special out of the bag. Who knows, maybe they'll have their Wigan moment.

That said I can see United blowing it too lol. Rooney to get subbed off and have a strop at some point in the second half as well :D

Yep the minute the ref failed to send him off King was simply left with no choice but to bring him down in stoppage time when he was posing no real goal threat.

it's a shame really. had we have gotten a point from the game, you may have won your last pl under ferguson before the blue side of manchester takes over. you'll see the blue light all the way down there in essex.

Did you see them at Chelsea? They have beaten Everton Stoke and Wolves away from home and drawn 2 games all season.

If you are so confident get a few quid on them 22/1 to win

Poor attempt. Like Spurs must try better ;)

I can't see City loosing this weekend regardless of our score. Stranger things have happened though.

Can't wait for the summer to hear all the blue noses going on about world domination, shift in the balance of power in English football, how they are going to sign not only Barcelona AND Real Madrid and be able to play them both in the first eleven at the same time and win next years Grand Slam, Oxford/Cambridge Boat Race and a walk on part at the Superbowl, not to mention any other other cliches that go with it.

I can genuinely say I am not fussed either way. If we win great. If we loose, obviously disappointed but again three games in the last twelve months shown where we needed to strengthen the squad and we didn't. Champions League final at Wembley & City Home & Away. City have a stronger team player for player and that's a fact.

What grates is how they have gone about winning it and their sense of entitlement because of their money. City remind me of that Michael Carroll who the lottery. Little class and really don't give a **** about what consequences their actions have in their greedy pursuit of success. They play Lech Poznan at home in a Europa Tie and give it 'What the ******* Hell was that' two weeks later they have their own Poznan. Everything about them is plastic, contrived and false

The only saving grace I take if they win the league is that I have quite a few mates on FB who are going on about we lost the league blah blah blah and that seems to be the flavour of the day. It comes to something when their is more talk about us loosing the league than City winning it.

Calling Man City plastic is a bit rich, Manchester United the first club to put its club crest on some slippers to wallpaper, success and money from fleecing millions of people into a brand ideology. The City owners are actually helping the area of Manchester, building a lot of stuff and training ground, people tend to forget that.

How about a the worlds first football plane livery.

Fans have had to put up with Man United fas gloating during the 90s.

Hoping for a Spurs and Newcastle win and Arsenal to drop points (preferably all 3).

Although I have a horrible feeling Spurs will bottle it.

Would be great if both City and United both lost, but I cant see anything but a City win even though I would like nothing better than City to balls it up.

I think its more the wembly final thats the problem. Some gave the impression that the only issue with utd was a really, really good barca side.
