Greg Clarke "Filthy Racist" Resigns

It was a slip of the tongue he is an old man that probably did not know the difference like most people he should not be sacked its that virtue signalling Labour MP that made it worse for him.
Like I said, if he didn't know the difference in the position he was in, in the organisation he was in, then he's had to try pretty hard to avoid learning.

His meeting was also a stupid zoom/IP meeting - parliament isn't performing particularly well with that constraint either, so, just, further colateral damage (look up zoom doom/fatigue)

Equally, if he was just beeing bloody minded, and thought, my record in trying to resolve these 'issues' stands for itself, and, to hell with todays coloured linguistic nomenclature,
then I don't blame him, someone has to make a stand for common sense.

Nearly 20 years ago. And people still pretend like it's new news.

Or do people watch that and not realise there's a joke at the end? :D

Hold on, I thought the definition was such that only white people could be racist - in this country at least :p

I've seen in printed more than once that black people "cannot be racist" because they are a minority :p (Probably in The Guardian :p)

Racism = using your privilege to dominate people who are not the same colour as you.
White people getting a job over someone who is not white.

Prejudiced racism = just hating someone because you don't like the colour not their skin.
So black people using racist ***** against white people.

Well that's what I found on some Canadian leftist law website on how they define this stuff, was a funny read...
See if I can find the site.

That's just ridiculous.

Well, perhaps rather than seeking out some "ridiculous" and obscure website that will doubtless appeal to many here, you might like to have a look at Wikipedia?
Wikipedia said:
Racism is the belief that groups of humans possess different behavioral traits corresponding to physical appearance and can be divided based on the superiority of one race over another.

It may also mean prejudice, discrimination, or antagonism directed against other people because they are of a different race or ethnicity.

Modern variants of racism are often based in social perceptions of biological differences between peoples. [LINK]

Come again?
Did I seek out the article? No I didn't.

Also who are these people that the article would appeal to?

Fair comment, you found it on "some Canadian leftist law website" whilst casually stumbling about in the dark ;)

Keep seeking - but still, check out Wikipedia for a less biased definition of racism first :D

I did actually stumble across it somehow, think I might have been looking at Canada and Quebec at the time.

Not saying I agree with what I found but wanted to show how some people seem to have different definitions of racism nowadays for some bizare reason, that and they say that's how they present cases of racism in court... apparently.

Should use antisemitism as the number one example.
Anti-semitism is a tricky one. Judaism and Zionism are sometimes conflated. It is akin to confusing opposition to the behaviour of Pakistan in relation to Kashmir with Islamophobia. Racism is typically in the eye of the beholder.

The departure of Greg Clarke may have as much to do with his involvement with "Project Big Picture" and "Pay Per View". I get the impression that his regular "mis-speaking" makes his removal that much more palatable while the Department for Digital, Culture, Media & Sport (DMCS) works on a solution to the financing of football in the UK?

Thats interesting, so racism is only to do with behavioural manifestations?

So saying white people are skinny or x race has x feature isn't racist. Cool next time I see someone complaining about those "Conguitos' I'll tell them.they are wrong and point them to Wikipedia
