The word BAME was invented by BLM so has to get British Asians to support BLM when Asians in Britain come from entirely different cultural background and have nothing in common with black people where is Asian history month.
What they do have in common is mistreatment due to their race. Just because they aren’t as vocal, doesn’t mean Indians are happy with the state of systemic racism across the world.

We hate on everybody equally, so don't take offence
I've never liked the term person of colour, but it doesn't offend me. If you call me anything with malice I will be offended, otherwise I have my life to live happily![]()
This is utter nonsense. The acronym BAME predates BLM by a decade or moreThe word BAME was invented by BLM so has to get British Asians to support BLM when Asians in Britain come from entirely different cultural background and have nothing in common with black people where is Asian history month.
Blacks hating on Asians is more common than white people abusing either.
Why is nothing being done about that?
Systemic racism across the world. Yes, Asians and black people are racist as well.
Genuine question:
On what information do you base this analysis of John Barnes MBE?
To be perfectly honest, I don't follow football and don't know much about him - presumably you do?
Only 4 stars? I must try harder!****ing ****!!!
Hold on, I thought the definition was such that only white people could be racist - in this country at leastSystemic racism across the world. Yes, Asians and black people are racist as well.
I think the real tell is, though, that a man in his position simply can't have been unaware of the unsuitability of the word without having deliberately avoided the opportunity to learn, or simply not seeing it as important to do so. Which are both severely poor reflections on his ability to do his job.Storm in a teacup. Old man uses outdated word which was more acceptable during his generation.
From the small clip I saw on the news it didn't look like he meant any malice with it, just used an old generation word. Probably the same generation of people who would say half-caste but without having the negative connotations behind it, not intentionally anyway.
Don't think he needed to resign over it (but it seems it's just one of many incidents apparently) but he could've picked a better word but it looks like it was a mistake through ignorance rather him trying to provoke and offended.
How do you know they are British? They could all be Indian.
Not much in common people from south east Asia what do they have in common with people from African descent its ridiculous to class them as one group and you should not class all Black people the same either most African immigrants have a total different outlook on life to people whos parents came from Jamaica they tend to have a chip on their shoulder like they are hard done by.What they do have in common is mistreatment due to their race. It was a slip of the tongue he is an old man that probably did not know the difference like most people he should not be sacked its that virtue signalling Labour MP that made it worse for him.I think the real tell is, though, that a man in his position simply can't have been unaware of the unsuitability of the word without having deliberately avoided the opportunity to learn, or simply not seeing it as important to do so. The acronym BAME stands for Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic and is defined as all ethnic groups except White ethnic groups. It does not relate to country origin or affiliation.
