Greta Thunberg

You know 6 people who had kids when they were 16?
Yes? One being an ex of mine (she was 26 at the time we were together), as I said my mother in law, a friend at school, someone who lived down my road, and then at least couple of people I didn't know so well at school. Teenage pregnancy was pretty common in the 90s.

I know a hell of a lot more than 6 personaly. But I aslo know a couple that had them at 14 aswell. It still doesnt make them not kids.
No, but I don't consider a 16 year old a 'kid', considering many have full time jobs at that age. There are calls from certain quarters for 16 year olds to get the vote, the same type of people who describe Greta Thunberg as a child.

For me coming from Stoke that is a strange question as though you don't believe him.
I can't count how many I know of, I had 3 in my classes of Year 10s and 11s.
My daughters were always coming home saying "Such and such are having a baby" and that's why I'm so upset that my daughters are from Blurton, Stoke, are 32 & 30 and still haven't given me grand children, they should have started at 14.

I assumed he meant he knows them well.

First girl in my year to get pregnant was 12, followed soon after by 2-3 others. We called them the buggy brigade as they often just hung around together in town with their kids in push chairs.

I don't know them though.

However, none of this has anything to do with either Greta Thunberg or climate change; why don't you stop bragging about how awful some of the people you know (vaguely) are?
The few people I knew who were parents at 16 were just a small part of my example, and none of them are awful people, far from it. They've been through a life that you couldn't imagine. Do you think people working full time after leaving school are awful?

Actually, yes I can believe that you probably do.

Reminded me of this one I saw on Twitter.

I'm a fan of hers. I believe she a force for good, trying to make the world a better place. To all the non-fans: What have you done to make the world a better place? :) Maybe that's where the hate comes from. The guilt of knowing she is right.

The only hate I see is from people making accusations of hate. Also a degree of hostility short of hatred towards (a) adults and (b) all the people who have done something useful about climate change.

Which of course means nothing to fanatics following their messiah, many of whom probably genuinely believe that anything short of adulation is hatred.

If global warming is so much of an issue and 70% of the worlds surface is water. Why are we not dumping milk ect into the oceans to stimulate algae growth to convert more co2 to oxygen ?? We could always turn easter island into a dairy farm just to dump into the ocean.

Or if it really is just a co2 issue shouldnt we be using scrubbers, from submarines that take co2 out of sub, to fill rockets up with co2 and blast it into space.

Radical times means radical measures doesnt it ??

I think I can save a lot of time by asking this; do you think climate change is real?
