Grid 2

I've been playing some online racing in the next tier of cars and whoa.... it suddenly becomes a lot harder under braking and the drifts are far harder to manage. I bet after an hour of racing with them it would become easier but to start off with I found it really tricky holding a drift that didn't slow the car down to a halt or spin it around.

I'm interested to see how the touring cars handle :D I need more monies dammit!!!

it does get better and a lot are not putting in any time or haven't unlocked certain cars yet before giving it a fair chance.

I hate to say it but I'm actually enjoying this now. I think it's just the mindless pick up and play for half hour at a time appeal. Online is good although I'm crap and a lot of ramming which tbh at times is hilarious.

Its a pick up have a blast and put down, for that i'm loving it. Need to try some online games but I d crash way to much. What I do wish is it had more ease in term of beating friends scores and making more of it. When you finish a race in career it shows the league table but they could have made more of that even giving you the ability to see that in game and likewise the online comparison area could have been better. But it is a gorgeous game and good for the blast

cause you playing on a xbox

all cars feel different and react different when driving them properly.

Its not a different game

All cars feel the same, you just drift them all. I mean since when do Indy Cars drift around corners?

I just had the pleasure to share a race with DG.
After spending the whole race behind him, I have come upon a secret to better driving, which I did not know before, and must share with the community.

Use the brakes.

On street circuits its actually faster to just bounce off the walls.

I just can't understand the forced 'drifting' everywhere in the early stages, drifting is not racing. I read they decided not to have Demolition Derby in GRID2 because they wanted to concentrate on the 'racing' aspect! Well, DD has more 'racing' aspect to it than drifting ever will, so it makes absolutely no sense whatsoever!

It's like buying 'The Complete Works of Beethoven' but being forced to listen to a 'Jedward Xmas Hits Special' before you can listen to Beethoven (Because they're both music..right?)... The people who like Jedward are not going to like Beethoven and visa-versa.
