On the basis that I was unlikely to be anyone's best man, I did (IMO) a storming Groom's speech. Some top drawer comedy in there.
If I could do it again, I would be a bit more soppy to the bride and cut a few of the b-grade jokes. But hey, it worked.

Base it on how long it takes you read it out loud at the right pace (no rushing).
6-7 minutes, ish.
Far too long for the Groom. Thirty seconds, job done.
Seems a bit long, I'd try to knock it down a bit and focus on what you really want to say rather than what you think is expected. End of the day I can't remember any speech made by the groom, a couple by the best man stick in my mind but only bits so don't worry about it.
