Group of 7 on WoW looking for more rerollers

Going to go with the Tauren Warrior now. I fancy a change, plus they are bigger and look more menacing.

What professions you think is best for a warrior? I normaly go Skinning and Leatherworking with my hunters.
 
JC+BS always works best, BUT if you are low on gold, i'd pick mining (for toughness = stamina) if you plan on going prot, it gives you the same (or almost the same) hp bonus as any other profession, and it's free to level :P
JC would be a second best proff choice imo.

I dont doubt it, but in the last few weeks i've been levelling an alt from 70 (currently 75) and entered 14 dungeons using the LFG tool. I've finished 3 of them. The quality of players during the levelling period is quite terrible. (Pugging on my tank during levelling was easier, but as a tank, half the problems were solved. It was only healers that could cause it to fail. Pugging a levelling DPS is a nightmare so far.).

People will just pick any role just to get in the dungeon. In the time i've wasted wiping and failing to finish, could have just quested past it. Especially now that quests give a metric arse-tonne of EXP during the earlier levels.

Pugging at 80 is fine, but pugging before that is a headache. At least questing you just have to rely on yourself.

Horses for courses i suppose, but i'll remain away from them personally.

I have to agree, don't think i've ever levelled so quickly. Usual wait time is 15 - 20mins for a pug on my level 77 hunter. Using rested xp though.

Love the new PUG feature remember the days of wasting around 1 hour just to get a group for SM.
 
whats the server like? is it horde or ally dominated or is there a fairly balanced ratio?

Also is there anything that goes for high on the ah or is in short supply over there?
 
I hadnt thought about asking anything like that, quite a good idea Apok.

Think I'll do some AH scans with an alt before coming over, if there is anything I can bring. Ragnaros is a hugely populated server (locked now) and our prices can be quite low for a lot of things.
 
What happened to the holy pala that was going to join?

And yeah our prices are lowww, to give you an idea:

Saronite sells for roughly 1.5k
Dragon's Eye for 100g
Most epic uncuts are around 120-150g

Dropped a message on here earlier in the week that I can't afford the transfer this week unfortunately.

Going to be transferring next week though and by then I'll hopefully have a couple new improvements to my gear as well, if the lag gives up anyhow. Was only home for an hour last night but couldnt do a thing because of some pretty serious delays..


By the way, I made a pretty dire choice buying t10 gloves with frost (as the gloves aren't particularly well itemized) a few weeks ago. I should have 60 badges again by Monday or Tuesday, do you think I should be going for the shoulders which is a 2nd piece of t10 for the bonus or just go for the belt (which looks like about a 60 intellect improvement after gems) and more haste.

Are you lot still going strong? I used to play a mage on Magtheridon (purely PVP with a little raiding mixed in) and with the right bunch i would be interested in joining up! However, i'm a mage! Do you need any more DPS? Do have arcane specced with PVE gear although may need upgrading now..

Priority should be (depending on your current gear) cloak and waist first. i264 shoulders drop off marrowgar, legs and bracers drop off VoA. I also bought the badge gloves, so don't worry :p

The tier bonuses are pretty good though, depends on your healing build. I just want to get the gear first, then upgrade to t10 once I have the token.

Look forward to seeing you on anyway, we will be a deadly (well, maybe not as we're healers) holy pala pair.

Looks like I should be investing in to the Waist then, looks like one of the biggest upgrades I can make from frost badges tbh so should be worth it. I'll keep you posted if anything changes as so far I could be moving anytime from Monday to Thursday!
 
Will probably transfer sometime around the 23rd, wont have the cash till then, will give me time to get the warrior to 80 and start farming some gold for all the saronites i'll need!
 
I thought about it a little and went for the 264 cape first. Will get the belt next chance I can, end of next week maybe.

I tend to make gold slowly so wouldn't be able to give you them all but (if it isn't against guild rules to sell to guild mates) I could sell you all the saronite I get at a much lower than AH price if you wanted Apok. I should easily get a few hundred. You needing ores or bars?
 
Just to save you farming any saronite, i'm meaning primordial saronite for the craftable pieces since they are pretty nice.
