The first way was fixed, now there is another way just as easy but slightly more time consuming.
The bike glitch is too slow. The better method is this way
Step 1 ) Steal a car, one that you can keep
Step 2) Mod the thing as much as you can, put everything you can onto it.
Step 3) Drive into Los Santos Customs and sell it.
Step 4) As soon as you've hit the button to sell it, bring up the menu, go to online, and then swap character. This takes you to the swap character screen. Re-select your original character and you're back in the game,with the money and the car.
Rinse and repeat as desired. I was getting 95k a time on my fully upgraded Sultan RS.
To speed the process up, you can change your spawn location to "last location" instead of "appartment" and do something to your car before selling it to force the game to save as you exit LSC, thus re-spawning you right outisde LSC to repeat again. Just make sure you're quick in the menus, too slow and you will actually sell the car.
Look online in your typical lobby, and look at how much wealth people have. Anybody of a high rank, has done most of the missions at least once like me, and gotten bored and decided to make money using the selling glitch so they can just mess about in free roam.
Rockstar say they are going to put everybody who does this in a cheaters pool. At this rate, everybody is going into the cheaters pool, making the thing pointless since everybody but the casual players will be in it including your friends.
Has anyone had the 'free money' from rockstar yet?

No, they said "sometime this week" just like they said last week. Apparently its waiting on another title update, presumably to try and fix the above. If you're poor, do the above a few times. If you make a quick couple of hundred K, rockstar aint going to care, Not when i've got people on my friends list that have glitched 35 million plus
All the talk & acceptance of glitching/cheating really disappoints me, Having played online for years & years I know there are cheats out there & we just have to accept/avoid them but I really didn't expect it on here.
I am disappoint.
I felt like this at first, but everybody has got fed up.
They released a broken game that
Lost your progress
Lost your character
Lost you money and cars
Crashed repeatedly during the tutorial
Raised the cost of items from single player exponentially to force you into buying cash cards
Enabled the griding of missions by quick repeating them, but to force you into buying cash cards they removed it
Enabled the repeating of missions to gain money even without the quick repeat, so they halfed the payout of a mission on replay, again to force you into buying cash cards
Didn't have the heists they tantalized us with
Didn't have the mission creator they tantalized us with.
Made helicopters / planes pointless by having to drive halfway across the map to pick them up. Why can't helicopters just land on your position like the merryweather one does ? and why does it charge you $1000 a time. Whats the point when a merryweather one is $500 ?
promised us a 500k "stimulus package" to recompense us for our lost, then postponed it 3 times.
Has static missions, meaning that every time you play a mission everything is in exactly the same place, Why couldn't they make the mission spawn locations dynamic just to keep it interesting for replays ?
Has a completely broken bad sport system, punishing those trying to have fun in GTA
Has a completely broken passive mode, why can't they just put massive players in their own server and let the rest of us cause havoc and have fun ?
Enabled players to glitch tanks / jets / choppers / police cars / anything a player wants into their garage.
Wimped out on the apartment / garage system only letting players buy one apartment or garage
Even now, weeks on doesnt have a working vehicle section on social club

Considering all of this, and that everybody else was doing it, I thought "*&%" it" and did it myself. I've only glitched about 4 million, nothing compared to what others are doing !
