It hasn't quite worked like that though, I ,and I assume many others, earned enough legitimately but chose to glitch money for one reason or another. Personally I bought a 200k apartment, switched to the 400k tuned my stolen cars, bought some special cars but I spent one evening just messing around randomly killing people, robbing stores and armoured trucks etc. and while I earned from the stores I still ended the night ~200k down
I haven't got to high levels but I achieved all I wanted to but I don't want to grind for a couple of hours or more just to be able to play GTA as it is meant to be for the next couple.The main glitch people are doing is the selling the same car over and over to make money. The huge number of overtakes in races seems to just happen anyway, it isn't something you need to go out your way to achieve.
All the talk & acceptance of glitching/cheating really disappoints me, Having played online for years & years I know there are cheats out there & we just have to accept/avoid them but I really didn't expect it on here.
I am disappoint.
Glitching I don't care for, cheating however is poor. Have seen many cheats so far, even yesterday a few of us were having trouble aiming weapons at people and not doing damage to them but it will allways happen.
GTA isn't an mmo, it's best played as a pick up and go game, where you don't need to spend 300+ hours to get what you need to enjoy the game, where as an MMO half the fun is earning your own stuff and learning the steps and mechanics to do certain things, seems like you have completely missed the point of what GTA is and what a typical MMO is.
Racing is good for RP, which is your XP, as for money I posted the youtube link a page or two back or you can read what Frodders said in text format lol
Well.. I tried the car selling glitch frodders posted up. For some reason I can do it twice... then my ps3 switches itself off. It has done this two times now. Yet if I turn it back on, I can drive around in free mode endlessly without a problem.
Is this a coincidence?

Yes it is, I did it about an hour or 2 ago, only enough to buy the 130 ~K 6 car house...
Very tempted to do it more to get the 200K house now...just wanting the 10-car garage lol

Yeah you can pay Lester to hide yourself on the map for a short while.
I did this loads of times the other night to some guy I was hunting down. Very handy feature as most don't expect it

Hmm, no idea. Can't think how using the character selection screen can turn your PS3 off ! Try swapping characters without selling and see if it does the same thing.

Hmm, no idea. Can't think how using the character selection screen can turn your PS3 off ! Try swapping characters without selling and see if it does the same thing.

The threat of those lobbies is to force you away from friends, but seeing as everyone I play with has done it anyway there's no real negatives aside from the silly hat, but will just make it easier for us to spot people who need sniping

On a side note, I'm looking for an Albany Primo if anyone has one, or knows a good place to look for it would be appreciated if you can help.
I have Western Daemon&Bagger and a Declasse Asea (sticker bomb car) if anyone wants/needs.
