On your own = boring as ****
With people from OcUK = More enjoyable
Playing with friends with you've known since being in nappys= Immense fun at times

I enjoy bumping into Thundery off here, he's a bit of a nutcase online.

Someone just tried to finish the race by power sliding across the line, they came up short of the line and I just drove around them to take first.

Wasn't me i don't think. We was touring the city in a fire engine with no wheels and 5 stars for about a hour the other day though.

My mate kept 'accidentally' killing him though. :rolleyes:

Well I do try to join requests but by the time me & my mate have finished doing whatever we are doing the request has timed out. Trouble with me is I'm always involved & doing stuff & 9 times out of 10 old bill are chasing me.

The only things you need to avoid really:

1. Don't blow up cars if you think they are insured
2. Don't leave jobs over and over.

Two accounts is really the way to go, one for fun one for progression.

On the riot account you can can just go around blowing up anything you want, get stuck in bad sport server and you can switch to the other account to play with friends

It kind of depends what mood you are in really as I am a bit vocal.

My mate said earlier that every time he joins me old bill are chasing me & he does get a bit annoyed when I shoot randoms & old bill when on a 2 star as it goes 3 & 4 & gets a bit laury & he panic drives.

My standard comment to just about anything though is "The streets are tough out there"

I'm having a great time but then I am gaming with one of my best mates irl most of the time. We do a few races & a few missions then go Free roam paired up & have a right laugh. I love being in the passenger seat during a chase as teh aiming is loads easier & much more effective.
I've played 91 hours + am level 78 & have my motors bike & apartment all got without glitching & am still having a great time online.
Both me & my mate have said though that this game wouldn't be nowhere near as much fun if played alone, The griefers & the grind for cash alone would be a nightmare & proper spoil the game.

I just don't want to be playing against people who have glitched stuff. I've barely touched it since launch. It has to pull to make think I'm going to go online and have a blast with this.

Nah I'm on PS3 so it's not you!

Someone just put a $7,000 bounty on me, my only garage is the really remote one up in Paleto Bay so I can see attackers coming from miles off. Been holed up in the second storey of the barn there for ages! Think one guy had a shock at one point as I called in the Merryweather support chopper for some backup.

It is kind of annoying that all my hard earned tackle can be gained by glitchers in a fraction of the time it took me to get it legit but I don't let it bother me at all. I got a sense of achievement unlocking everything & gradually building my stuff up that they will never know through glitching, It really is there loss. I constantly get rewarded for good behaviour with a little $1000 bung & get untold RP points playing with mates/crew. The glitchers will end up on the Dunces servers until they **** off to the next big name game to cheat on.

No Mic is a Sin !!! I personally see it as my duty to abuse anybody without a Mic therefore forcing them to get one so they can abuse me back.

Not quite though is it, so much of it is level locked that if you play it enough to get to the high unlockable content you will (unless you waste it) have enough money to buy the stuff. You could glitch millions as a level 1 but wouldn't have anything to spend it on so gains no real advantage. I think most people do glitch to gain some sort of advantage but it depends on the person.

Personally I bought the 400k apartment, filled it with the cars I wanted and had bought all the guns. The only thing I have spent the glitched money on is changing from the 400k apartment - 391k as it has a better view. Repainting my cars on a daily basis and ammo due to running around causing havoc. None of which gives me an in game advantage over any other player of the same level. Though it does give me an advange in that I don't have to grind the same missions I have already done over and over just to be able to afford to go on rampages across the city.

Edit: Also bought a helicopter but it useless as I don't want to drive halfway across the map just to pick it up so have gone back to calling in the Merryweather one as it lands on your head.

what would happen if you destroyed someones car and you didn't have enough cash to pay the insurance?

there was a point yesterday after spending 50K on a turbo for the GTR and 25K for a turbo in the RR sport, i had only 695 dollars.

do you go into minus? does the person have to pay the insurance themselves? or do you think some sort of glitch would happen and the person loses the car forever?

I actually binned the X360 mic as it never sat right due to my using behind-the-ear aids (the speaker was in entirely the wrong location). Need to invest in some proper cans, but even then, that'll be mainly for PC use.

GTA for me is all about going on with some mates and causing havoc in free roam. If we spot someone driving around, we can quite happily run them off the road and attempt to kill them and wreck their vehicle.

I think 16 players is a little low occasionally. Would love to see the number doubled but not sure if it would be resource possible...
