GTA V Multiplayer thread (360, XBOX ONE, PS3 and PS4)

So you can kill whoever you want and you won't get bad sport provided you don't trash insured cars?

It seems bizarre, why are they so bothered about you blowing up insured cars? The owner gets a new one immediatly, you pay the excess and the mechanic delivers it to wherever they are, it's a complete non issue.

If I had to chose between being killed 10 times a row and having somebody blow my personal vehicle up the latter is surely less annoying.

Actually, I think you can blow up personal cars without getting bad sport by putting petrol around the car and then lighting it with the backfire thing some cars have. You can do it in the single player and won't get the police on you. Only really works though if the owner is in ammunation or something. :p

Nope, you can only sell cars to LSC up to a base value of $50k.

Had pretty good fun last night trying to suicide bomb people with my insured Lazer (free to replace). Didn't manage to hit anyone as I apparently suck at flying but was funny hearing the comments. And the Riot Van is overpowered as hell! Quite a few people don't seem to know it has a bulletproof windshield, was just parking up in front of people as they wasted all their ammo trying to kill me. Can still get shot through the side windows though.

for the stimulus pack you had to be active during October, anyone know if you have to be active when it's released?
my xbox live runs out on nov 1st and I wasn't going to renew until Christmas when they might have updated the game a bit/ when I've got COD and battlefield.

I remember languishing in third for most of the races so I'm not exactly a win at all costs player!:p in my defence there is not much room for two sand kings on the road!

Should be around tonight again and maybe I can redeem my reputation!

On a side note is it common to lose your personal cars? I called the mechanic to deliver my blista and he delivered my ruiner instead. Thought it would be quicker to swap over at my garage, so I raced over dropped the ruiner off, when out and back in......two ruiners and no blista?! :confused:

Why do you say this mate ? Have you run out of things to do or do the activitys online not interest you ? Or is it all the glitched griefers about ?

I'm having a great time but then I am gaming with one of my best mates irl most of the time. We do a few races & a few missions then go Free roam paired up & have a right laugh. I love being in the passenger seat during a chase as teh aiming is loads easier & much more effective.
I've played 91 hours :o + :p am level 78 & have my motors bike & apartment all got without glitching & am still having a great time online.
Both me & my mate have said though that this game wouldn't be nowhere near as much fun if played alone, The griefers & the grind for cash alone would be a nightmare & proper spoil the game.
 
Can agree to that, this game would be fairly boring doing it alone.

The banter and laughs more than makes up for the problems that you may or may not have with the game, Sunday was awesome we were all on a killing spree and eventually ended up with out very own OcUK lobby lol
 
I generally play alone, not out of choice but because I rarely seem to be able to join sessions with OcUK crew members :(. Still having fun though. I've stopped doing races to gain easy cash and now spend most of my time chasing bounties, selling Ballers once an hour, and generally killing anyone who looks at me the wrong way :).
 
I have quite a few people from OcUK added to my friends list and I have to say for all the fuss about people wanting to join the OcUK crew there seems to be very little desire to actually play with crew members, at least that's my experience of it so far. There are a couple of people who will always join you for some crew based missions, races and general arsing about, but the vast majority of people in the crew will just ignore any requests you send them and don't bother reading any messages you send them either.

It just seems like even though the crew is pretty big, people are quite content to just play it with their real life friends and ignore the OcUK crew members which is pretty pants in my opinion. I mean, even if someone was doing a survival mission with a friend and was too busy to join an OcUK race, they could at least invite the people into their survival. Defeats the point of the crew if hardly anyone is willing to play together.
 
Have you asked anyone to join you, not just send them a request but actually send them a message or invite them to a party?

From my experience a party invite is all it takes to get the ball rolling, I ignore most the in-game phone requests as I'm normally already doing something.

But I always see lots of OcUK people join who never say a word.

There aren't any parties on the PS3 but I have sent messages with no reply. Fortunately the people that do play often are usually pretty good fun to be around. :)
 
Someone call Chewy(something) added me yesterday, I accepted, joined something that he was doing, then I start hearing screaming and nonsense through my speakers.

Yeah, seems I play with the same few as well but always a laugh so it doesn't matter. others are welcome to add me and play though :p
