Anyone who knows about the glitch isn't bothered about it, I have about $1.2 mil in the bank, with an apartment, a yacht and a garage full of cars. I am just saving the money so I can spend it on modding when my character levels up, that and ammo.

If they had dropped it when the announced it then it would be most welcome, at the same time removing the glitch. Now it is just silly, almost every server I join there is some guy driving round in a tank ! You are kind of forced to do the glitch to level the playing field. One time I got respawn into a server where there were 5 cars at the LSC !!! It was mayhem.

Legitimtely, I got about $80k, it wasn't that difficult. You steal a car worth about $9k, sell it, go to races for 25mins, go back and sell another car.

You can make about $30-40k an hour if playing this way.

This has made me happy and I'll actually play more online as I want to buy things, more things.
 
Personally I find it more fun to create an impromptu race with a friend in free roam, or run into someone random and start a little shoot out.

I used to hate it when get run over but now I do it too, it is just part of GTA. Keep an eye out on the map at all times, and any cars that is driving erratically, fast, overtakes, especially any cars that runs red lights.

I got sniped last night while in the passenger seat when my friend was driving…I have to say, that was a bloody good shot on his part.

Take them to the garage and there's an option to sell the car. The spray cans on the map.

Ballers, are the best to sell. 9k undamaged.

Also look out for security vans, 4-12k out of them.

Simon looking for special cars 6-15k

Rob a few stores and repeat.

Survivor gives you 20k if you finish it and races are good too.

I haven't glitches a penny and have 400k in bank and 400k apartment, and I only play casually.

I believe the fun of GTA is causing mayhem and this is helped by having lots of cash. Because the races and missions don't reward you with much money currently, so when free roaming, you can feel quite restricted if you are watching your wallet all the time. That isn't fun IMO, the game should encourage you to cause mayhem, because that is what GTA is about. For the first time in multiplayer last night I went for the police on purpose and want to see how long I can survive because I can afford all the ammo. I picked my favourite spot in a car park (so to avoid helicopters), with walls on 2 sides and a pillar for cover, perfect defensive position. In single player I would be dead eventually because the cops would keep on coming as I would eventually run out of ammo. In multiplayer however, other players seems to get excited about the abundance of cops in my area and they also engage them, which took some of the heat off of me, even though I am sure that was not their intention in the first place. So much so, to the point I lost the 4 star wanted rating. Which in single player would be impossible, there were so many blue/red dots on the map at the time, more than I had ever seen in single player.

Which brings me to the next point, they should add that into a kind of mission, it shows some cooperation between friends against the police can work and it Is quite rewarding and fun, something along the lines of a getaway mission, with a single person evading the police whilst friends helping him escape/slip away. With the ever so hyped up promised heists potentially rewarding in the millions splitting between friends, then it would be great. No more glitching, even one heist a day is enough money to play around with in game.

Also, having lots of money allow you to spend it on pointless things (much like real life, retail therapy is retail therapy), from having more cars than one need, I mean who needs 10 cars anyway, or like stupid pink paint jobs on all the cars so they match…even metallic paint which costs 10x over normal paint just because. Or on $400,000 apartment just for the view, when a $200k apartment offers the same interior and garage space. I can also buy up the entire wardrobe for the character so when I walk into the changing room there are more options for outfits, yes I went there :p

It is the whole collecting mentality that comes with having lots of money, a bit like being Jay Leno of GTA with cars/Paris Hilton with outfits.

If however money is lacking, there are less fun to be hard, especially you don't have the luxary of the sanctury of your own apartment to escape should you choose.
 
I have done some but I don't find it that enjoyable with random people.

P.s. Is anyone on level 35 on tonight, and could you call merryweather on me? I want to steal their trucks :p
 
Getting the green cars for Simeon is getting tiring :/

3 times I got the car today to be boosted as soon as I leave LSC :(

It doesn't spawn very often.

And as you've discovered entering a garage is almost like entering a mission so when you come out the traffic is reset and it's gone.

Happens also if you follow the vehicle round and don't attack it. Icon on the map will disappear but the can is still there. Blow the doors off and there will be no money inside

They also don't seem to spawn if you're in a free roam on your own. They only spawn with multiple players in the server
 
Just went into a game and I have received my money of R*, I know most of you arent bothered as you have money now anyways but thought id let you know, also got 5k bounty put on me straight away :(
