GTA V Multiplayer thread (360, XBOX ONE, PS3 and PS4)

I think it is cosmetic. although the supercars I've gone on the run in are great off road (bar the obvious ground clearance issues on rocks and stuff) on standard looking wheels tyres.

They do make a difference put sports tyres on a sandking and go off road then compare it with a sand king and off road tyres.

Exactly what I did, it makse a huge difference

Fair enough, please note my use of the word "Think".
Thanks for the definitive answer on the topic, I'm going to put some offroad tyres on my Rolls Royce tonight. :D

I still say the supercars I've been off-road (while on the run from the Police) in have fared very well on stock tyres though. :p

It is amazing how these little changes actually have a physical difference in game, in a game that is jammed packed with all other stuff, small details like this are still have plenty of attention is just awesome. I like the fact that adding a fuel tank under the truck is not cosmetic but has actual effect on ground clearance, it makes you don't want to tune the Sandking as much (along with suspension leaving it on stock – highest) for maximum road clearance.

I can understand sports tyres for off-road driving making a difference, but it would be interesting to know what difference tyres make on the road, if any. I've put sport tyres on my Baller 2 rather than SUV tyres for example.

wow people were going insane in here about people glitching etc and calling people out a couple of weeks back, now it looks like everyone in here is doing it.

until the $500K hit yesterday i had like $694, I also had a 250K apartment and 8 stolen cars, the GTR and a motorbike.

Now i have the $500K what should I do? I don't want to lose it on death tax, ammo, mods, etc.

Is it worth buying a better apartment, everywhere online suggests just buying a $200K+ one which I already have.

Now is it worth buying super cars? I mean realistically speaking my GTR with Turbo and EMS Level 2 is ridiculously fast enough as it is, do I really need to spend $500K+ on a supercar when my GTR gets me from A to B pretty much lightening quick already? Or is it like the apartment situation and bragging rights etc?

Also attack choppers and tanks seem to be pointless too as it's pretty much the fastest way into dunce servers.

So I have no idea what to spend the $500K on.

The money doesn't make you a better character, just allows more fun and show off, like pimping cars up, buying a boat, nice apartment.

I have the money in game but can't even buy a sniper rifle.

Use the $500k improving your car's performance, save some for ammo, and amour.

I had the 205k apartment on my 1st character who went AWOL, with my 2nd i bought the 391k apartment and will downgrade back to the 205k one the next time i play.

Loads of people camp the expensive apartment in the games i play, to snipe you as you leave the garage in the cut scene or just try to ambush you as you leave, as that is the place most people bought.

The location of the 205k one is much better imo and only one block from the gun shop which is a bonus.

Ditto, I am going to "down grade" too because of that, plus the one down town you see more action out of the window.

that's the one i have at the moment and the views on that website are incorrect, it's all highways and construction sites, possibly the worst views in the game.

it's central though, 2 blocks away from LSC, gun shop round the corner, highways in all directions.

the garage though is a pain to get to round the back (2 tight turns).

i don't care about the view tbh i'm never in the place, the only thing i use is the garage, tbh i would have been better off with a 10 car garage and just a heist room, do people actually use their apartments for watching tv, showering or getting drunk, etc? i hope they add a lot more tbh the apartments have been pretty poor tbh.

would have liked balconies, jacuzzis, bbq, rooftop helipad, etc.
