GTA V Multiplayer thread (360, XBOX ONE, PS3 and PS4)

New update today, adds some planes.

Is there a way to stop auto-targeting the police? I hate it when I'm in a helicopter chasing after a bounty, and it automatically targets the police vehicles :(.

I played a bit of this tonight.

The mission payout and RP has changed.

Some missions are around 20k on Hard now, others have had a cash and RP cut (RR for example 10k + 2k RP now)

I got around 20k for doing hack and slash (i think it was called, steal the 2x Fbi cars) solo on hard, i didnt waste a single bullet.

I noticed the payout has changed for rooftop rumble it now seems to vary between 10k - 20k not sure what to pattern is to how it pays out, dosn't seem to be effected by number of players or contribution to the mission

The longer you take the more you get.

At least joining random missions there is now a good variety, as pretty much everything pays a good amount.

Tempted to grab gta v on next gen when it's released, what are people's opinions on the MP mode in general? Worth playing or still really unfinished?

Its still definitely worth playing.

They've made it harder and harder to make money though. Every patch comes out and they reduce the payout of the best mission that has the best cost : time ratio.

Its just a constant never ending cycle that makes it harder and harder to earn money, pushing you buy cash cards from them as DLC.

People want to see the heists that we had in single player, because that make you millions of dollars, but I've a feeling rockstar will make them unprofitable in MP so as not to ruin the economy.

On another note, the single player is an amazing experience. Its worth buying this game just for that.

Interesting to read, I'm thinking of pre-ordering the XB1 edition. I completed the original single player missions and really really enjoyed it. I know at some point there is bound to be a DLC like the "Ballard of Gay Tony" so I'm looking at it from that point of view.

I didn't actually touch the multiplayer on the 360. Thinking I may have missed out :-/ Does the lack of cash make it difficult to play? Do you need items bought with cash to make it playable?

I'm still playing multiplayer, i enjoy the contact missions with other people and racing along with free roam.

You dont need cash card to play online, you get plenty of money just playing the game.

Most of the unlocks are to do with rank or race wins/kills etc..

I'm hoping they remove the 2 garage limit so i have something to spend money on.

Maybe they will open up the casino and other things on the new systems. I also doubt heists will pay well or nobody would play anything else, maybe 50-100k if they take quite a while to complete.

I'll be buying it on XB1, i didnt bother finishing single player, i think i'm around 70%. Multiplayer gets free DLC most months adding new things which is good.

I think you'll be fine starting off, there are always people out there with bigger & better cars & weapons, always idiots out to be annoying, but thats just the way it is, ovrall its a lot of fun, I stopped playing when I got my xbone and started again a few weeks ago, its very easy to immerse yourself & lose hours, and you won't always be bumping into someone wanting to irrationally kill you :)

Spaceman, if you have cash burning a hole in your pocket ;)

I'm going to save up a bit more for a Tank & Buzzard as i only currently have the Annihilator.

I would rather spend the money on a couple of cars, but don't want to lose any of my current ones.

Another 16 levels and i can spend some cash on a minigun and ammo :D

The lack of cash doesn't make it difficult, it just makes things like jets and helicopters out of reach without serious time investment

Playing GTA 5 and WTF is that doing in the lobby

modded lobbies

people have found a way to use the mission creator in multiplayer lobbys and can use it to spawn things in - like this UFO.

They've been erecting barricades outside los santos customs, putting huge objects trapping peoples cars in their garages and all sorts.
