Returning Players
Character Transfer

You will need a Rockstar Games Social Club account linked to the console accounts used when previously playing GTA Online.

When entering GTA Online, you will be given the option to transfer your previous GTA Online character and progression data. Once you have chosen to transfer your previous character and progression data, the transferable in-game money, RP and Rank of all previous characters will be displayed. These are the characters that will be transferred to the PlayStation®4 or Xbox One. Once the transfer has completed, you will be prompted to choose a character and enter GTA Online.

You will still be able to play your existing characters on PlayStation®3 and/or Xbox 360, however any progress made with versions of the characters on those systems after a transfer will remain on those systems only. Any existing PlayStation®4 or Xbox One GTA Online character and progression data will be replaced by the previous character and progression data during the transfer, except for any existing in-game money, which will be combined with your transferred balance.

All earned in-game money will transfer. Purchased in-game money that has not yet been spent will only transfer within a console family (e.g. PlayStation®3 to PlayStation®4).

Cannot wait for release, soon as I knew it was coming to PS4 I knew I was going to get it regardless of what features/differences it had. Rockstar never fail to impress me, GOTY I think.

Just read this review here sounds unreal.
 
So hyped for the 18th although I won't have long to play on it as i'll be going to France the following day :mad:

Not sure what to spend my $500k online money on, I'm not fussed about a new apartment, what's a beast of a car ?

The best cars in the game costs in the region of $1mil, the Turismo, the Entity, Veron lookalike etc. There are lots that are almost as fast but cheap, the best is the free Nissan GTR.

I would use it to get a $400 apartment in the centre of town with 10 space garage or put it towards the tank or the attack chopper.

Think I might save for the Attack Chopper then, a 10 space garage does not interest me. I'm happy living where I am (think it's an 8 space) looking out over the Vinewood hills and the Golf Course :cool:

I shall be doing the same, 360 -> PS4.

From what I've read, it looks like your character and cars/properties will transfer across, but if you bought in-game cash with real money, then that will not transfer outside of the platform (e.g. it will go from 360 to Xbone, or PS3 to PS4, but not between). So I guess spend any money you have (that you bought using real money).

But with 500K in-game cash from pre-ordering, plus the missions that are easy to grind cash from, it won't take long to get stuff.
