Hilarious. Keep it up.

Thanks for reminding me what a legend of a player Suarez is :)

Post wasn't intended to come across as hilarious in the slightest but that would just be you lacking the intelligence to realise that.

all you jobless bums quit whinging about it not working and get your a**** down the job center ! ! :D

I'm posting this from the job centre (Work programme actually, but same **** different name). Cannot wait to get home and be disappointed in this then play some Terraria on PC. :D

I'm probably not even going to attempt to get onto this tonight. If it's already failing now imagine when everybody is home from school and work etc

Nobody who goes to school should be playing this, but you're right. Such **** parenting nowadays, but that's a whole other discussion.

Can't imagine these problems with the servers will persist much after tomorrow.

Really? Have you missed all the other atrocious high profile online game problems, look up Sim City Online, Diablo 3 etc etc. They lasted weeks before getting sorted, I really doubt Rockstar will overcome them quickly especially given they are overloaded by midday which should be the quietest time.

True but they have completely different audiences, GTA is quite abit more of a casual game than Sim City or Diablo. I imagine a lot of the people who cause the congestion will get bored and play something else and come back later, people who are the slightest bit dedicated will hopefully be able to slip in for some games and it'll just get better from there.

Rockstar have also confirmed micro-transactions, I imagine they'll want people to get in ASAP so they can cover server costs and start a profit.

FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT.

The only way to solve this is for a fight between you two.

IN GTA of course, we can all meet up, and stand round in a circle and watch like fights at school, no guns or dirty play, just fisticuffs.

:D

They made $1billion in 3 days. I'm pretty sure they're already in profit :p

Oh I know :p I just mean't like offsetting the money they'll need to spend in order to support the player base online, and hopefully make a profit on top.

This is actually one of the first cases of micro transactions outside of an MMO imo that is justified. The game is already so vast as a single player experience it's awesome we can potentially have such a vibrant persistent online pseudo MMO thrown on top.

Rockstar have said that they want to create more cities as well, and take the online portion of the game further than just Los Santos, this will hopefully become what APB should have been. Good things come to those who wait. :)

25 million units sold in the 1st week, I think it's fair to say there's at least 10 percent of that trying to connect to online on release. I don't know how anyone could prepare for that amount of concurrent users.
You can't. I don't think there is any way they can simulate the stress levels that millions of users trying to access online at the same time will put on their servers. The only way is to do what they're doing - apologise in advance and try to iron out the problems as soon as humanly possible.
