Most likely. They'll hardly rewrite the engine for the PC version when they can sell you a port - and gamers WILL buy it. Well some of them anyway hence why it hits the console first - thats where the money is.
We can cry and whinge all we want. Fact is folks will pirate the game so Rockstar will make the consoles their focus point. Hardly a surprise.
Everything is made using PC's, but that doesn't make it a PC game. Most things can be scaled, but ultimately gameplay and control mechanics are geared towards the primary sales platform and they won't change dramatically.
But that's not why consoles are getting it first. And I don't know why studios like Crytek even used it as an excuse for switching to consoles as their primary platform. They should have just said that's where the big easy money is.

It will be I'm sure, it just depends if it's a good one. In most cases ports are perfectly fine.
It shows some hope in a way too, current generation consoles are so outdated. My guess is that R* don't want to hold us PC gamers back, and give us the full experience.

No GTA V at launch for PC.
TPU has a small article on it and the forum comments are amusing. But then it is the usual from Rockstar and other games that are ported.

depends where u look. a few years ago fifa games could be had for £30.
plus if COD can increase price of a game, so can rockstar and u and others will still lap it up and buy it

Jonney, you keep saying this but with no evidence? I can't even remember the last time I spent £40 on a game. There are always deals for launch day, usually around £36.

We'll be lucky to even get it! No mention of PC version in recent announcement about the game launching in spring 2013.
Where is Red Dead Redemption for instance?
Is it not very good so they didnt bother to port it to PC?

Don't know where you buy/look for your games mate, but where I look, it's cheaper than that (excluding COD).
RDR will never release on PC.

Scuba-diving probably? I would have thought that location would be somewhere scuba-diving is really a big activity.
No they aren't. What's your source, the Littlewoods catalogue? GTA5 will be the same £35-40 that every other console game is. If you can't find it for that price, that's down to you.
The game ran at 720p on the Xbox and 1152x640 on the PS3. Not sure where you got 420p from.
