My girlfriend told me that I'm a loser and I need to get out more when I told her how excited I am :) don't think she understands how long I/we have been waiting for this!!

Yeah I left mine running the other day and it went just fine, although when I did go to launched it today, it downloaded another 1-2gb, can't remember how much exactly.

I assume it was just an update, or something that I missed the first time round?

I launched my installer today and it started installing around 2gb, which is what I thought I had left. Odd though that it was saying xx of 2gb rather than 58 of 60gb.

Anyway, it said validating files at the end and seemed happy, so I'm gonna assume all good.
 
Ha ha! Things are going even worse now. Got disconnected while downloading and when I reconnected it said 49 GB of 65 GB done (was 60 GB before?) and then disconnected again and now its 51 GB of 55 GB done. What is going on?
 
Steam servers are fine still, bought mine on steam bout an hour ago and it just finished pre-loading :D.

Can I just login with my GTA 4 and EFLC R* Social club acc when this is out or do you need a separate GTA 5 acc ?

Premium price for a premium download service, everyone complaining about the R* SC download servers got what they paid for:D

I have been on this torrent for about 3 days. I have averaged about 100KB/s and have only gotten 19GB so far. 85 seeds at the moment, 60KB/s.

I hate how shockingly bad my internet is, been at 5mbit since 2012 with no sign of change whilst cities seem to double in speed every month.

First day of pre-load, I was done within an hour.
Yesterday I had to pre-load again for some reason.. And guess what? It was done in less than an hour!
I have downloaded it TWICE in less than 2 hours total and some poor people are taking days/having major issues etc.

Those who said getting off Steam was not worth it, well I wonder how many of you have changed your minds by now :D

Sorry I don't mean to boast, well actually I do :p

Question to anyone in the know. Once all my files have been downloaded (Downloads to a separate HD) can I do a fresh OS install on my main C drive and not have to re-download all the files again?

Just started mine, around 700KB/s average. At least this method won't delete itself over and over.
