I think i'm in the same boat as you guys. I'd rather wait for the PC version, it'll probably be more polished too bug/glitch wise.
Hopefully it will be better than the absolute abomination of a port that was GTA4 on the PC.
“Please note, during our Thursday’s earnings call, our investor relations team provided a list of important games that gamers are looking forward to on PC this fall, and included Grand Theft Auto V on that list. This statement was made with the intent of expressing enthusiasm for the games industry in general, and was not intended to represent specific knowledge possessed by NVIDIA. NVIDIA does not have information on any possible PC version release of Grand Theft Auto or its availability. We deeply regret the error.”
And please god don't make me suffer through Windows Live again.Hopefully it will be better than the absolute abomination of a port that was GTA4 on the PC.

I'm not particularly fussed on a PC release. Makes me giggle those taking punts and asking about the rendering distance. It looks good enough on console IMO, and they've had a lot of time to optimism the engine since IV. It really doesn't make a difference to me whether I can play with SSAO and it be crystal clear or not. GTA games are so much more than that. Also their track record for quality porting leaves a bit to be desired, so we aren't missing out on much really IMO.
And please god don't make me suffer through Windows Live again.
Will a single 5870 run this on high?
What GPU am I going to need? Will it need an Octocore CPU?
