GTX 1060

LOL,so when the AIB RX480 cards get finally released, will that means the RX480 is now the quicker card??

I think Nvidia is very lucky,AMD PR ***** up again, not even getting some AIB RX480 cards out for review sooner.

So you can prove this? or just the fanboism getting the better of you?

Why else would you contradict your own benchmarks?

1. To prove you were completely stupid.
2. Because nV had put a lot of pressure on you to say this.

Like I said, their own benchmarks say one thing (1060 5-10% < 980), their conclusion states that the "1060 is equal to or faster than the 980 for a lot less money".

You decide. People who actually looked at the benchmark results and didn't just skip to the conclusion will be scratching their heads.

God damn all these high prices are just making the 1070 look more appealing, I'm falling straight into nvidia's marketing!

Looks like I'm going to have to hold onto my cash a lot longer if I want to feel like I'm getting my monies worth with GPU's

The prices for this generation of Nvidia cards are beyond a joke and now we have a supposedly budget card starting at £240. It's barely better than a 970 and has just filled the old 970 price range. No affordable new card upgrade for me then. Need to try and find a second hand 980ti then. I can see me giving up pc gaming altogether in a few years at this rate. The prices of components have been going through the roof for the past couple of years. We now have i5's at the prices that you used to be able to get a i7 for, gpu's that cost nearly as much as a whole pc used to cost. Surely this cannot go on?

What the hell is MSI smoking?

£1 = £1.30

MSRP 1060 $289

UK Price = £299.99 ($390)

I think we're becoming the next Australia. Products priced way above $ prices because "people will pay it."

And the sad truth is that people will pay it. Unlike other countries we've lost the ability to control our spending. Probably most of it on credit.

Probably going the same way as games, vote with your wallet but there are droves who don't.
