Am I the only one that doesn't mind the prices? I've ordered a 1070 FE (from elsewhere, unfortunately). First graphics card in 4 years (currently rocking a 670!) so if this one lasts this long, 100 quid a year isn't so bad. I waste far more on things I get far less use out of.
That's not what I'm getting at. I'm comparing it to TX because it's was just about nvidia's fastest GPU until very recently. The performance is way beyond what most are currently running in their PCs. The post I quoted implied it was an average card. Frankly, once the hype dies down and these drop to £350ish, they will be a great deal in my opinion.

I love that Nvidia have kicked people so hard in the teeth that the general consensus now is that the clown card (that was so heavily mocked), is now seen as the way to go.
Instead of "settling" for the clown card...how about just stick with 1080p for a while longer? First world problems lol.
