Just bought my brothers 780 from him for a bargain, Now I have 3 way SLI goodness

Why 3 ? Unless your trying to gain numbers in benchmarks I cannot see two struggling with much even multi screen or 1440p. Tbh a single card does very well at 1440p and multiscreen.

I've never had the chance to before and in the coming months money will be very tight so I thought I'd take the chance whilst it's there

Problem I find with 780 is one isn't quite enough for 1440p and 2 is overkill. Rather have a bit more power in the bank though.

Just for those that want to clock,

I am getting +179 clock and +320 memory without touching the voltage on my Classified with a Heaven 4.0 score of 1681

Will hopefully get more when it it under water and tamper with the volts

Nothing says money's tight more that TRI SLI 780s

I'm going to have another go tonight. Totally forgot about monitoring to see which limiters were being hit etc. I shall report back with my findings tonight. Haven't installed the 2nd card yet.

Why would you order a Windforce if you are going to fit a waterblock ? Surely a reference card would be better.

Was cheapest one I could find, + Gigabyte warranty @ £384 delivered (not sure I trust Palits/Gainwards types)

Reference cards are more expensive, for some odd reason.

sorry to interrupt the overclock speak.

just a query for anyone with the MSI Geforce GTX 780 Gaming Edition, how long is the card?

The site states 266mm and a review I read states 270mm but after an evening of frustration and disappointment realising the windforce I ordered is actually 5mm too long (i thought id have that spare)

to fit in my case I want to be sure before parting with my money. again. just cost me 11quid to send the windforce back....

if it is indeed 265-270mm its gonna fit otherwise no 780 for me.
