Gtx 780/ti 6gb version

yeah but I still have my 570

I've waited 3 gens now

I only wish I'd got a 2.5gb version (or 3gb 580) - it still has plenty of grunt - just not enough VRAM
 
I don't understand the staggered release, anyone who wants the 6GB 780Ti isn't going to buy the 780 then upgrade a month later..and anyone who doesn't want the Ti and wants the cheaper option would have got the 780 even if they were released at the same time?
 
If that does work out to be the price, I'll be a very happy customer. I'd love to see these come out with 12Gb versions as well!
 
£40 or so for double the VRAM - count me in

ok games maybe won't use all of it for a long time, but how long 3gb will be enough - who knows

for less than 10% more - no brainer
 
good marketing from EVGA I'd say

I mean I could see some going for a 3gb 780Ti for not much more than a 6gb 780

but if you were considering a 780 - it'd be a tough decision not to go for a 6gb varient if available for not much more- good way to capture the market

same as when the Ti version comes out
