***GTX 780 Ti Owners Thread***

Welcome to the club :) How you finding it up to now?

Welcome back to the right side Boom

Haha, yeah it's good to be back. I wasn't planning on getting another card until Maxwell, but the Ti proved to tempting now I have funds again lol. All setup for the Witcher 3 when it arrives now.

It's a very nice card. Build quality is awesome. Runs cool and quiet even when stressed even clocked @ 1200mhz, can't argue with that tbh. Got a very good deal on my card so very happy with it.

All previous nvidia cards i've had when overclocking (and going too far) it'll crash and reset back to stock clocks and that's that.

The 780 ti Classified I have now is crashing then resetting, but then hangs windows for 2-3 secs every 10 secs eventually requiring a hard reset.

Normal? Pain finding overclocks if everytime it fails needs a reboot. otherwise I have a card that loves voltages lol seems to clock high so far but needs much more voltage.

Judging by your sig you're as eager to play Witcher 3 as me :D.

Nice purchase.

Depends what's causing it. VRAM clocks will hang and then possibly hard reset, core clocks for me normally stop the driver from responding and reset the driver. It's all dependant on where and what the cards doing at the time I guess. At the end of the day it's unstable so it's going to be erratic :)

Memory wasn't touched. Only core. strange as all Nvidia and even AMD cards would just reset, not needing a hard reboot. it's not like i was pushing the card too far.

Normal heaven stability testing oc,

Any voltage added for those memory overclocks? or stock (1.6v?)

I am using the 106% slider on EVGA precision. Tried the +75mv for benchmarks to stabilise the core at higher speeds but since I wasn't getting artifacts I didn't bother for the memory. In any case the voltage offset doesn't seem to save for me so I would rather run the memory at stock than have to manually load the program each time. Honestly, I don't need the extra performance for gaming, the 780 Ti was just to push my 40 fps GTX 680 up above 60fps for v-synch
