It's amazing what the Titan did to our perspective regarding good pricing![]()
I think silicon melts at 126c, not 100% sure on that but I know its a figure between 120-130c.
So 95c is pretty cool, compared to melt down point.![]()
Maybe some of us have a different view to others on a good price. Even a £400 card looks expensive if you're sat on minimum wage...

A £400 GPU is expensive.
Perhaps, point being the Titan has allowed NVidia to sneakily push up the price of it's normal top end cards a good amount, with people still feeling they are getting a good deal in comparison to the Titan. There was an article about how the Titan was a marketing ploy. It's not about what people can or cannot afford, its about value for money in comparison to you were getting not so along ago.
MSI cards will be available today, at a corker price too. Not sure how many though.
EVGA Superclocked has no confirmed date yet![]()
Not to me it isn't.
8 years ago cards were being released at £500.

I spent £480 on my R9 290x.
That is expensive, whatever way you look at it.
For less than half the price I could have had a 7970 which would have done a good enough job at 1080p
A PS4 is £349.99. Battlefield 4 is £45.
That will be a comparable experience to playing the same game at 1080p on a £1000+ PC.
If I am a millionaire and Tesco are selling a £2.99 sandwich and Selfridges are selling an £85 sandwich, then the Selfridges one is expensive.
Just because I can afford it doesn't make it inexpensive.
